Python PROGRAMMING

Course Description: The Python programming language is used widely in a variety of applications. These include mobile applications, gaming, data science as well as general purpose programming. It is also suited for the beginning programming student because it is easy to learn and is more intuitive that other programming languages.

This course will cover the basic Python programming structure, variable types, flow control, data collections and writing to files. This is a beginning programming course and some intermediate-level features of Python are not taught.

Recommended Grade Level: The targeted grade level for this course is middle school and higher.
